Points to Ponder...
Heading into the weekend, I have these thoughts:
- Society is clamoring for so called 'gun free' zones. (Umm, have you been to a prison lately? Not exactly what I would call a violence-free community, yet no guns to be found.)
- Lon Horiuchi, Orenthal James (OJ) Simpson and Jack Kevorkian are still on the loose.
- Jesse Jackson and Al "Little Richard" Sharpton have yet to apologize to the vindicated Duke Lacrosse players, squad, and the Duke University campus. (Yet demanded that radio jock, Don Imus, extend the same courtesy to the Rutgers' players and their families.)
- DA Nifong got what he deserved- disbarment. Will the acquitted take him to civil court?
- Rosie O' Donnell hopes to follow Bob Barker's footsteps in hosting The Price is Right. (What's next...Madonna taking the helm of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir?)

I didn't get to see this until this morning, so you could have added that the world is now at peace since PH (can't even say her name) is out of the pokey.
Regarding that slime Nifong, I sincerely hope the justice/civil system isn't through with him yet.
And I heard a possible bright spot concerning OJ: since his book MAY POSSIBLY be viewed as a confession, double jeopard wouldn't apply and he might wind up in the slammer where he belongs. We can only hope.
